For aggressive research programs, chemical supplies are often a source of frustration for administrators, faculty, and researchers alike. Typically housed in disparate labs and stockrooms, chemicals are difficult to track. As a result, time-constrained researchers often purchase supplies directly from vendors - unaware that the required chemical is already on site.
